We were very happy to be asked by Trunkwell House to help with the lighting of their giant marquee, which has been beautifully transformed into the Bohemian world of “The Moulin Rouge”. Gemma and the team at Trunkwell have done a wonderful job in creating a fabulous series of themed Christmas parties, with bookings available from Friday 25th November until January, including New Year’s Eve.

We wish the talented team at Trunkwell House the best of luck with their high-stepping, high-rolling, high-octane parties and hope that their Christmas fishnet stockings are well filled!

We have been asked by Camberley Theatre to help with their panto this year – “Cinderella”, by supplying front-of-house sound reinforcement. This we have done by installing an RCF TT31A Compact Line Array system. This was completed last week and has already been thoroughly tested ahead of the panto’s first night on Wednesday 7th December. All agree that the system sounds fantastic and will be very well received by all theatre-goers.

The panto features Louisa Lytton in the lead role and runs until Monday 2nd January 2012. The Yes Events team will probably also be in the stalls on various nights, behaving like the children we are and joining in with all the traditional fun – he’s behind you!

We have been spending equally on sound & lighting equipment and are quite proud of our new acquisitions, which include Platinum Beam 5R & Platinum Spot 5R moving heads. These amazingly bright but energy-efficient units are taking the lighting industry by storm and appearing everywhere,  from the X-Factor TV show to the Bon Jovi live tour. We have also purchased a number of the fantastic Core Lighting Point 30 LED battery up-lighters which are controlled wirelessly and need no mains leads. A fully-charged unit will last for up to 8 hours on full brightness and as they are completely cable-free they are ideal for use in awkward and inaccessible places or where cable runs are undesirable. We have also been adding to our stock of RCF sound reinforcement products with the purchase of more RCF 722A active cabinets, RCF 905AS active bass bins, RCF TT08-A high-power active cabinets, RCF TT25-A high-power active cabinets and RCF TTS28-A high-power active sub-woofers. RCF’s profile is growing ever larger in the UK with a recent installation of their products at Westminster Abbey, and we will be investing further in RCF products early in 2012 with the acquisition of several elements of RCF TTL33-A medium-format line array and RCF TT25-SMA stage monitors.

In addition to many private and corporate parties, we are delighted to be working with Royal Windsor Racecourse to deliver their series of 70′s themed Christmas parties. We will be supplying entertainment (some of our best DJ’s and funky 70′s tribute band “Infunktious”) plus 70′s disco theming and some suitably retro lighting effects together with a great sound system designed to really move the party-goers.

Most of our autumn is taken up with the preparation and execution of the annual “Enchanted Woodland” event at Syon Park. This wonderful evening illuminated garden walk around the stunning grounds of Syon Park will reach it’s sixth year this November, and we are proud to have been associated with it right from the start. This year it runs on Friday, Saturday & Sunday evenings, from the 18th November until the 4th December.

The challenge for Yes Events is to create and implement an increasingly complicated set of set-pieces, all designed to delight Syon Park’s guests, from the youngest to the oldest. We incorporate many different technologies, from moving heads, through lasers and colour-changing LED fixtures to interactive displays complete with sound. The team at Syon Park throw everything into organising these evenings, so much so that the Enchanted Woodland has now become a regular fixture in many people’s diaries and these guests return every year to see what we have done to the beautiful gardens this time.

At this latter venue we have produced many different and exciting events, including the Sam Beare Hospice Ball. Here you will also find videos of some of our other production work, including the Gig On The Green Yateley, held this year on 2nd July. This was a great success and we are delighted to be involved with this wonderful community event again in 2012, when it is planned for 30th June. We supplied the stage, sound and lighting for this concert, and this is a good example of the sort of package we could put together for you if you’re planning a similar event any time soon!

We have also been entertaining hoardes of people with our very own fantastic stage act “Battle Of The Divas” who always raise the roof wherever they perform. Created in association with the amazingly talented Rietta Austin, this superb band are ideal for private and corporate events and simply get better and better each time they perform.
